Is it weird that I go to Google street view and look at Joker Marchant Stadium frequently? Yes? No? Whatever whatever, must feed the addiction.

If I am headed North of town, I drive through the complelx (completely) each way. Sure I know nothing is going on, but I'm at the ball park. That is enough even for a fleeting moment.
Comment I haven't stressed: The JMS concession has changed hands. No idea of new meny or collectibles. Saw many new items being sorted last weekend. Also saw a lot of new inexperienced staff. The tall Gary is still there.Live your life for what it can be and not for what it was.

As we crowded in the fan area enjoying the warm sunny morning, the grounds crew began irrigating the plants. Of course it was recycled water and the smell was like a waste treatment plant. Security is again totally disorganized and not allowing anyone to transit to the back fields unless you claim to be family.

I find it somewhat silly how a simple picture of a moving van in central Florida can brighten my mood. But it did. And now I'm ready to go home, drag my mitt out, and see what kind of shape its in, even if I won't be using it anytime soon.

The Major League Scramble is just one of the week-long set of events leading up to the Tigers’ 76th Opening Day of spring training in Lakeland.
The Detroit Tigers open their 2012 Spring Training season with a home game against Florida Southern at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2 at Joker Marchant Stadium. We are heading down to Florida tomorrow and plan on making it to Lakeland on Thursday. Since the games won't start yet should we just head to the stadium for the workouts? What times are they usually on the field? I think I need a spring training primer:)

The last time I did that, the mitt was in better shape than I was.

Great job, Roger. Is it your PC that's messing up or your card reader?
Does anyone know of a sports bar in or near Lakeland that shows the Red Wings?
I don't want to DVR 3 games while I'm down there. I am goig to DVR Tiger game on ESPN since we'll be sitting right behind home plate!2013 AAT: Brennan Smith
