I think this is an excellent thread, and adds a dimension that you can't find anywhere else on the web

Oh our record! I thought we got Eddie Van Halen to play catcher.

You can't argue Eddie's has more hits than Laird, but can he play defense?

Valid point. This is unique and far less cliche than an Boesch thread has become. Creativity A+!

That was Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes and we traded him to the Cubs.

Something went wrong. Please make sure you added the video correctly. Click here to see how YouTube videos should be embedded. There could also be a technical issue that's not your fault. Click here to view the video on YouTube's site. If this link doesn't work, you did something wrong.

In the interest of turning this Van Halen related thread into an actual Tigers related thread, here's a pic of Eddie Van Halen in a tiger-striped jacket. I like to think of it as his way of saying "Go Tigers"!

yeah I like "Summer Nights" too. That's about it on that album. There was a song on OU812 I think I liked but I can't remember. I basically remember the Hagar years as a different band.

I'm considering a "hey everybody, look at me thread" of my own. Anyone got a suggestion for the subject?

Good point. The subject is irrelevant.

We watched "Live without a net" a lot at the time. I'd like to see it again to see if it was any good or we were just stupid kids.

To be fair to Sag, I think that's pretty much what these are usually for. There are some exceptions though, I think you were actually just trying to be clover. I thought it was funny.

I certainly get it. When I saw their record as 51-50 the first thing that popped in my head was Sammy Hagar yelling "5150!" from that concert footage.
