Default DVR Alert: Tuesday 9th, 1:30 MLB Network

According to Comcast, and verified on MLBNetwork.com, the Washington at Detroit game is supposed to be on MLB Network!

Anybody know what the deal is with Comcast and the MLB network, I had it since it launched, and then suddenly about two weeks ago its gone. I called comcast and the person I spoke to was not aware of anything. Was it moved to a different package or something?

Check the on-screen menu. Maybe it moved in the channel line-up.

Rip,

I'm in GR too. I get MLB in HD on 258 and standard def on channel 740. I have the digital preferred package, but according to my lineup it's supposed to be part of the digital classic, which I think is a step lower than the digital preferred.

That could explain why MLB decided to carry it.

I don't have the digital preferred package, they must have rearranged a bit. Oh well. I know the internet well enough.

I have been reviewing the guide for MLB network, and it appears several Tigers games will be broadcast, including next Monday's game against Toronto. MLB just carries games that are broadcast by local affiliates, which is why so many Yankee games have been carried so far.

Sorry, I just deleted it.

P.S. MLB announcers may be the worst in history. They just rambled on and on about stories they wanted to tell ignoring events of the game. I think they figured out there were commercials, but barely.

I got about 4 innings into the recording but had to watch my Oakland Golden Grizzlies win their conference tournament to go dancing.

If I had any idea how to get the game off my DVR I would get it to you.

Me too, sorry.

They were Washington Nationals announcers...

Wow, yet another reason to be glad I am not a Nationals fan. There was NO play-by-play.

This is a bit off topic, but for the first time ever I won't be buying the Extra Innings package offered by DirecTV. They've bumped the early renewal price up to $191.94, so I think I'll just go with the $99 MLB.TV package and hook my computer up to my TV. Trying to save a buck wherever I can this year.
