That chart definitely eases my mind a bit about the run to the post-season. As long as they're playing .500 ball, they've got a shot. August is going to be tough. 3 against Minnesota, Seattle, Anaheim, 4 against Boston and Tampa? Ouch. At least we don't have to play the Yankees like the Sox do.
If anybody is going to gain ground in August it's going to be the Twins - that August schedule is not exactly imposing.

Is the Minnesota series at the Metrodome? If not, it's no big deal.
Why are you scared of Seattle and Anaheim? Anaheim especially is a team that is finding new and creative ways to lose games. It's not the same Angels of Lackey/Santana/Weaver/Tex/goodVlad/ScotShields.
Boston and Tampa, I'll give you. That's likely to be a rough 8 games.
