Tigers ready for Winter Caravan
Tigers ready for Winter Caravan

Glad to see that Saginaw is on the caravan again. I wish the article gave us a little more info on that particular stop.

Here are the Tigers participating in the caravan. This is a pretty good gauge of who will be at Tigerfest:
West bus: Bloom, Bonine, Clevlen, Dolsi, Galarraga, Hollimon, Inge, Lambert, Laird, Larish, Ramirez, Rapada, Rodney, Seay, Treanor, Wells
Metro bus: Cabrera, Everett, Figaro, Granderson, Guillen, Hessman, Jackson, Ordonez, Porcello, Raburn, Robertson, Ryan, Santiago, Simons, Thames, Thomas, Verlander
Notable names missing: Bonderman, Zumaya, Polanco, Sheffield, Willis

wow, definate A and B tema there.
I may try and sneak out of work next Friday and run over to the Henry Ford. Kids don't have school that day. I can be in and out in an hour or so and get back to the office ot make an appearance before leaving for the day.

I've never been to one of these winter caravan stops before. I'm going to be in Detroit a day early for Tiger Fest. I was planning on making a stop at the Auto Show already, but now that I know the tigers will be there too thats just gravy. Do they sign autographs at these winter caravan stops? I know theres autographs at Tiger Fest. If i can double my chances though at the auto show that'd be great. Does anyone know?

I know that at the Henry Ford stop that there are no autographs. I don't know about the others. I think having the autogrpahs makes it too disruptive. Is it better to get 1000 people all standing in a line for 4 hours or to have 1000 people sitting there in seats listening to to them talk?

When I caught the stop at SVSU last year, I was lucky enough to get there early enough to be one of the first in line. I can't remember where on campus it was held, what time it started, what time doors opened or what time I got there. Ha, I should've taken notes!

I'm disappointed that work will cause me to miss out on the Saginaw stop. I'm also disappointed that, according to the above info, Miner is the only one who will be there. Last year we got Verlander, Seay, Chuck Hernandez, Dickerson and someone else whose name escapes me right now.

We called Henry Ford to get details, and the woman on the phone said that in order to get in you had to call ahead and reserve seating. Which I can understand, I guess, but it is kind of lame that it didn't say that on any of the websites or in the paper (actually, the paper said to get there early because seating is limited). Seating that people don't show up for will become available again at 1:00, but I don't know if I want to take my boy up there and get his hopes up to find out we won't be able to get in...

Galaragga was a no show at the west bus caravan. Also, Avila left him out of his speech when he was talking about the starters next season.
He was on the highlight reel however.

Also, Avila acted like there was for sure going to be a bullpen signing, and he acted like that was why Dombrowski wasn't there. Probably meant Lyon.

There's pictures of him at the Motown Museum, so I guess he went with the Metro Bus instead.

How was it? I was going to go but didn't.
This is from today...

Is it just me or does Miggy look like he's lost a little bit of weight?

I don't think the Saginaw stop was open to the public this year.
