So the Tigers are totally going to score 2000 runs this year, right?

Legitimately, I think they will score about 800 runs.

We automatically know this year's team will be better than the '08 team because Dane Sardinha isn't on this year's team.

AUGH! Actually I thought about this thread earlier today and wondered if someone would find it or start a new one.

well, they scored 787 runs last year and I don't think Fielder is 213 runs better than Martinez

Just so people are aware, this thread is from 2008 and people aren't actually suggesting we'll score 1000 runs this year.

Yeah it was a nice bump.
How long was Boesch out for again?
Replacing Martiez 12 HR with Fielder who will most likey hit close to 40 IMO and add Boesch for the whole year....
Fielder-140 RBI
Cabrera-125 RBI
Everyone else I have no idea...Fielder is getting more because he will hit 4th IMO.
Can the rest of the team bat in 700? It would make us close."Yeah You're right man...that is enough."

This thread got a little BP love. In fact, the title of the article is a play on the thread title, and the writer and his porn stashe also get some MLB Network trigger time:
