Tigers Player Introduction Music
Hey All,
I'm trying to build an iPod playlist consisting of the intro songs for the Tigers batters and hitters. I've got a few down but need some help with the rest. Any assistance is appreciated:
Pudge - Latino Heat by Eddie Guerreo
Casey -
Polanco -
Guillen -
Inge -
Monroe - Ain't Nothing But A G Thing - Snoop Dogg
Granderson - It's going down - Young Joc ?
Ordonez -
Zumaya - Voodoo Child
Jones -
Walker -
Rodney -
-
Casey - this one is familiar but I can't place it. I'll let you know if it comes to me.
Inge - Ridin', Chamillionaire; Animals, Nickelback
Guillén - You Don't Know Me, TI
Ordoñez - one of them is Get It Poppin' by Fat Joe, I think
Jones - Last One Standing, MercyMe
Walker - Smoke on the Water, Deep Purple

Vance plays a song by Tool, but I'm not sure by which one. I also know that Polanco, as well as Infante, play some crazy energetic salsa music.

If I made millions of dollars playing baseball I don't think I'd worry much about what tune they played for 5 seconds while I walked on the field.....I don't think the players care much either.
That's what marketing departments are for.....No, I couldn't.....I haven't even warmed up the pipes.....mmmmGOULET!

Heh. I have pondered this question myself, and actually have a playlist on iTunes. Thames uses Snap Yo' Fingers by Li'l Jon and that Young Joc song. The intro music is Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. Granderson has used Hate Me Now by Nas and some jazzy song at various points during the season. Monroe's used Lean Wit it Rok Wit it, by Dem Franchise Boys, Ramon Santiago's used Temperature by Sean Paul, Alexis Gomez has used What You Know About That by TI . . . uh and I think that's all I've got for now. I'm dying to know which Tool song Vance uses. :P

Hey not to be a smartass, but Zumaya's song is actually called Voodoo Child (Slight Return) by Jimi Hendrix. Jimi also has a song just called Voodoo Child, without the Slight Return on the end, on the Electric Ladyland album, but its a much much longer blues jam, and a great song indeed, but much different than Voodoo Child (Slight Return) which Zumaya uses.
Now, if anyone can find out the name of Omar Infante's song, hook me up!VT

I think personally, that when our team takes the field it should be to the tune of "For those about to Rock (we salute you) by ACDC. That guitar riff in the beginning is freakin' awesome.
Of course I am a huge ACDC fan and could just as easilycome up with a song for each player to come out to.... be right back!AAT 11' Victor Martinez

That's not even close to a good enough excuse. Literally this topic has been done like 8 times. I'm not complaining in the least, I'm just saying, that every time the topic comes up a few people ask about Polanco's music, and I'm normally the first one because I think it's by far the best of all the Tiger players walk-up music (well, not "by far"......obviously since Granderson walks out to Dre Day and Nuthin' But A G thang)........but by far the 3rd best.
