Default Should the Tigers sign Rudolph?

Seems like a better hitter than Iglesias, would give Ausmus even more speed to use on the base paths, and his WAR is trending upwards.

His contract is ATROCIOUS, though. I'm not sure he's worth the money. The years aren't an issue because of his age, but the money involved is out of control for the production.

Also, I worry about his lack of socks. Can he truly be gritty?

Sign him! He can really fly and he is a natural leader. Also the fall weather won't make his bat get cold like the other 375 infielder we had...

Well, [Rod Allen]the back of his baseball card says he helped the team in their postseason run in 2013 and was "clutch" and "gutsy"[/Rod Allen]. Seems like everything the Tigers need.

Can he make it through July and August, though? I don't think he's had to play in those conditions.

We know redheads aren't good at baseball, but rednoses are uncharted territory. I've read some glowing reports; kid has a bright future and we could ride him to a few championships.

Word has it that he was so good in his prime that out of jealousy, his team mates wouldn't let him join them in any of the games. Either way, the asking price would be sky high.

His card shows only regular season stats. Apparently they never let poor Rudolph join in any post-season games.

That's the problem right there. His teams never made the playoffs due to poor team chemistry.

Jeezus I am so sick of him and Boras trying to jack up his value every December. It always coincides with the winter meetings, which are just a warm-weather festival of hookers and bourbon anyway. And all this talk of his "leadership" is a bunch of nonsense, Santa picked him out for Chrisssakes it wasn't as though the others elected him. I want some hard data before I'll sign off on 8/$160. I think that those last 3 years will be a ****in' millstone.

I've read nothing but glowing reviews of this kid. I think it'd be a good signing. He'll probably go down in history as one of the best to play his position despite his inability to hold a bat.
Every time you play a hand of you poker you wanna run through a mental check list. Head Position Hand Position Neck Position Breathing Posture. More than 25 items. It's a lot. And that why I've come up with a handy mnemonic device. Just one word: HPHPNPBPECMSPAMDCPAFTSTTL. It's easy.
