    Default I AM....THE NACHO FAN!

As a Motownsports forum member, I want all my brother and sisters here know the Fielder Nacho fan was me! Greatest day ever at the park.
Had my new orange hat on my grandkids bought me for my birthday and I knew I was sitting in the first row hoping to get on tv catching a foul ball. That orange hat would be easy to spot. Well here comes a fly ball, and Fielder. Expecting a crazy bounce, my eyes were on the ball. Well a guy behind me caught that foul ball, I turned around and there was Fielder in my boss's lap. My boss, who was in town from Vegas, says "easy there big fella" and put his hands on Fielder's chest. Fielder looks at me....then snatches a chip and takes off! I turn to my boss and said "He just took a nacho"!
Got to say, it's been fun reading on the internet all the stories and watching the videos. Really cool for sure!
And I did get a ball the next inning off a foul ground ball from Santiago...just a lot of fun for a day at the park!!!

Yea, I was sort of surprised Fielder didn't send a vendor your way compliments of him or give you a snack from the dugout or something…

    ALSO!

What I'd give to see on live TV in 2025, Prince Fielder in a suit and tie giving his Hall of Fame acceptance speech and out of the crowd this lone guy charges the stage yelling "YOU STOLE MY NACHO CHIP!!!!"

What I love about the Nacho incident is that it highlights that Prince has been coming out of a funk. It wasn't the signal moment. But that sort of playfulness had been missing in the first half of the season. If he hits for power and average in the playoffs...we might offset Miggy's injury.

To me it almost appeared as if you offered Prince your nachos. You kind of held the chips out in front of you so he obliged. Then when he snatched a chip you seemed almost pleased.

One year during a Wings playoff run, 2009 or 2010, we went to the Labatt Jungle Bar after the Tiger game to watch some of the late Wings game which was in the 2nd period. They closed the gate going out to Comerica Park's concourse but let us stayin there and drink. We ordered chips and salsa and they kept bringing us more, they said they had to get rid of them.

It's all good...I got a cool story and videos my grand kids can show their kids some day. The Tiger organization received plenty of positive feedback from all over the country with this fun episode in their home park. I had a blast with all this, now I just want us to get to the World Series and win this thing....
