Numbered gold cards are back in the update series. Yeah!!!!! And they are including gold parallels for series 1 & 2 also in the update. Groovy baby.

Half the preliminary checklist is TBD (not sure what team he plays for) but Tigers included so far are Smyly, Coke, Laird, Benoit and Dotel. Plus whatever Tigers are in the all-star game & HR derby.

I just opened the 2nd blister box that I bought earlier today. Tigers are the Fielder All-Star, Sanchez and the Laird blue border. But the prize was this beauty. Too bad it's not one of the Tiger autos, but a Hall of Famer is always a nice pull from a retail product.

The Verlander SP has a great shot of the Tiger's big 3 showing off their AS jerseys. Hopefully they discover a hidden Berry SP card of him standing on second base in the midst of his thunderclap.

I updated Post #9 with the inserts to the best of my knowledge. Updates are the Pudge Blockbuster card is a Marlin, Infante does not have a 1987 mini but Kaline does, and Cabrera and Verlander have Golden Moments cards.

** Does anyone know if any Tigers are pictured on Golden Giveaway contest cards from any of the series (S1, S2, Update)?
