Default After Several Years Of Searching

Have you ever had a card that always seems to elude you?
I have been working on a set that includes the best graded example of a Tiger HOFer that I can reasonably afford as well as the same card autographed. The newer Tiger HOFers we all know so well are fairly easy. There are two HOFers that have been very difficuly because they played for the Tigers for such a short time, and only have one card each that I know of that featured them as a Tiger.
Waite Hoyt is much better known as a Yankee, but he played parts of two seasons, 1930-31, with the Tigers. He was elected to the HOF in 1969. The only card I'm aware of that features him as a Tiger is the 1931/32 Exhibit 4 in 1. Collectors used to cut these cards up into four individual players, making full cards harder to find. This particular year seems especially difficult. It's been a daily ebay search of mine for several years. I did find the cut autographed card a few years back. Out of nowhere, a full card popped up on ebay. I'm pretty excited about this:

What card have you been looking for forever??

What card have I've been looking for forever??
1952 Topps #354 Fred Hatfield and #370 Billy Hoeft.
I've been collecting Tigers cards since 1976 and these two cards are the only regular issue Topps cards that I need. Both cards are out there but I just can't see paying $300 for each of them. Thanks to DavidSB for sending me a 1954 Al Kaline card a few months ago as a retirement present. I just retired from the Air Force in May.

Jimtb, this got me thinking. Now that you completed this project on ebay, what's the next "white whale" on your daily ebay search?
