TTM?

Usually I only get autographs in person at the games and such but I have a few pictures I took of players I was hoping to get signed and now they are no longer Tigers. I have never sent anything through the mail to get autographed. So I have a few questions?

What is the proper way to do it?

Where do I find the address's?

Do you send a letter with it asking or a extra copy of the pic for the player to keep?

The players I have right now that I need are:

Zumaya
Dontrelle Willis
David Pauley

Send the photo, self addressed envelope with postage and a letter in a larger envelope. You could send an extra photo for them as well, but they could probably care less. And they probably won't read the letter either, so they won't even know its for them.

As for those players, Zumaya doesn't have a team, I'm not sure if Willis has a team and you should have a decent shot at Pauley.

Your best bet is to look into joining sportscollectors.net. It's a great board with lots of info re addresses for all sports and TTM success rates. It's been a great resource fir me.

SCN rocks, definitely worth the small cost. Of those 3 players, the only one I'd try TTM is Pauley. He's currently pitching for the Salt Lake Bees, the Angels' AAA team. The other 2 are long shots at best, but you never know - the best returns are the long shots that make it back. Just don't send anything that can't be replaced.
