Could you provide a scan of the form letter for me? I would prefer to see it before I mail off a request for him to the Tigers foundation (I'm only contemplating as he is a good signer in person)
Thanks, Zack the Detroit Tigers collector

I was kind of hoping that he would do stuff other than cards, but I'll see if I can find 100 cans on the streets so I can afford a donation.
I have a card done already, but it's signed in black and stands out in my collection a little bit.
Thanks, Zack the Detroit Tigers collector

Thanks, for some reason the letter wasn't showing up yesterday on my screen. I wonder why they choose to only do cards?

100% price increases for Avila, Boesch, Cabrera, Inge and Jackson. Thank you Coke and Porcello for no increase. New additions Benoit and Peralta.

I just noticed this on the link:
At the end of the year, all of the money raised through the program will be matched by the players and donated to their charity of choice.
That's really quite awesome. Did the players match last year? I don't remember seeing that before. I winced when I first saw the price increases, but it's great that everything goes to charity, and the Tigers are one of the very few teams that do something like this (Pirates, Rockies), and many more Tigers participate than on those teams. Now to see that the players match the donations makes me like it even more. That said, I do believe they'd make more money overall in volume if the pricing was a little lower, especially since it's only cards.2013 AAT: Eugenio Suarez - SS

That's very cool. I also did not know the players matched the donations. I agree that lower prices will attract more people though. Two years ago it was $10 for a card and $20 for an 8x10 for Miguel Cabrera or Magglio Ordonez. Now Cabrera is $40 for only cards, and a guy like Inge costs $20 on a card.
