Game#53 Wizards at Pistons
I think we missed one thread, so I'm guessing on game #53. As I type this the Pistons are up by 15 with about 10 minutes left.
They would have blown this game out if it wasn't up to missed free throws in the first half. They've had it under control all game long. Washington got to within 6, but since then the Pistons have dominated again."Only Lions fans can predict a victory when their starting quarterback has a broken arm." -unknown

Up by 20 and they are on a 16-2 run, so I guess it was right before this run when it was a six-point game.

Wizards respond with an 11-1 run and now it's only a 10-point lead with over six minutes left.

Ben makes 4-for-4 at the line before 2 minutes left in the game, thwarting Washington's strategy.

Washington just had a trey to make it a two-point game with about 5 seconds left, but missed, Detroit rebounded and won.

21 wins. My bet was over 21.5 so I need one more win to collect.

Which will make it the third year in a row the Pistons will be picking from roughly the same spot. They are going to be in NBA purgatory for years on end at this rate, where they will be good enough to be an 8th seed in the playoffs but never bad enough to be able to draft the impact player they need to be true contenders.
There is no liberal media, only corporate media.

Well, the 8th team in the lottery has a 2.8% chance of getting the #1 pick...so it looks like Anthony Davis dreams are long gone. Latest mock draft I've seen has the Pistons taking John Henson of North Carolina at #8.
