Southpaw...
Good trade. It took guts for me to offer you that deal, and probably more guts for you to take it. For those who don't know, I traded him Kobe and Tony Parker for Jason Kidd and Richard Hamilton.

Cruzer, I think you got the better end of the deal just because of Kobe's legal troubles. I think it is going to affect his season even if he doesnt miss games. I despise you for getting Kidd though because I wanted him. By the way everybody, I'm trying to upgrade at the point guard position. I have Jamal Tinsley and Larry Hughes. I also have Corliss Williamson, CButler, and Olowokandi on the bench that I'd consider moving. As always, I'm willing to negotiate anything though. Just check out my roster.

I think Rip has a chance to have a real break-out year. He did well last year, but the more up-tempo style of Larry Brown might help him a lot. Tony Parker is a nice little player, but he's not Jason Kidd. I'd have made the deal too, Cruzer.

The reason I made the trade - I don't want to be looking back later in the season thinking why I didn't pull the trigger on the deal that could've given me Kobe. The legal issues are serious and will take it's toll - but this man is probably the best player in the league when he's on his game. If you asked me...it's worth the risk.
Speaking of break-out seasons...Tony Parker is about to become of the top 10 points in the league...Hamilton is expendible for someone who will pass and score like Parker.

I'm interested in dealing Corliss Williamson and Michael Olowokandi, if anyone is interested. I'd probably want to acquire a guard.

I'd be interested in dealing those two also...to waivers!

LOL, I have a waiver transaction pending that involves releasing Williamson. Olowokandi is a sleeper at center, so I'm not waiving him (I have Shaq)

Thanks Billy! I'm definitely happy with that trade.
