Tag for Jake Long might be too pricey for Miami Dolphins - ESPN

I'd imagine he'd be asking for Calvin Johnson money, would not resigning Avril and Backus give the Lions enough room to sign him?

It probably would but it would hurt the Lion's in the future when they try to resign Suh and Stafford. I would love to see the Lions sign the Michigan man.

If I had to choose between Suh and Long after Suh's contract runs out, I would pick Long. Franchise left tackles are harder to come by than Franchise DTs.

Although that means my #90 Jersey isn't worth as much. :)

Unless a new TV contract boosts salaries by a lot, I think Suh might be in for a pay cut from his rookie contract anyways.
