A leaping guy like Jeffrey to add to Marshall in our division makes Trumaine Johnson that more desirable for us.

I've said it before, but there can anything sporting wise to attend live than the draft. Talk about downtime. A true couch pasttime.

Who is calling the shots in Seattle? Pete Carroll?
It is no wonder he is can't win games in the NFL. He must be the worst drafter in the league.
Edit: I should rephrase that. It is no wonder they suck so bad. They do manage to win games because of their division.

Man, 4 players from Illinois before a single player from Michigan State or Michigan.
Odd.As God is my witness... I thought turkeys could fly.

Hate the idea of picking for need, but really hoping the Lions pick a CB.

Wow New England. Tavon Wilson is a poor man's Troy Woolfolk. That's saying something.

Well, at least they aren't taking another falling DT.

Worthy over Crick? Teams must think Suh's former teammate has injury issues.

Lions select Oklahoma WR Ryan Broyles with the 54th pick in the second round.
I can't say I saw that coming...

Lions win the part of the draft for having the best players announce your picks.

ah yes, the danger of a precedent that MLB will get important calls correct, we certainly want to avoid that at all costs. - pyrotigers

Love this pick. I was not completely sold on any of the corners and I think we should cut Burleson in the near future to save some money so this pick makes sense to me.

Hmm... Can't say I'm a fan of another WR, but if he was really the best player, I guess that's the right call.

BTW, I disagree with Mel Kiper's assessment that our defense is awful. I do think they underachieved last year because the front four was poor against the run but there is talent there to be better. I think Gruden makes a better point that our running game did us no favors last year with how poor it was.

Ryan Broyles is a very good football player, a great slot receiver.

Another WR????? And an injured Oklahoma WR at that. Somewhere, in a cold homeless shelter Malcom Kelly is laughing his knees off.

Sorry, some of us can't watch it on our TVs, so looking at something like twitter and messageboards is a good way to find out for us. I'll let other people post the picks from here on out, but maybe you shouldn't check the threads around the pick until you see it on TV in case someone else happens to ruin it for you?
