If we go 4-0 in the 2009 preseason is that a bad thing?
Recent history shows us it will translate into an 0-16 regular season record. But I can't say a losing preseason would be a better sign of wins to come. Or very entertaining, considering I am forced to pay full price for these games I would like to see them dominate opponents even if it's just practice.
Preseason starts August 15th...

Preseason record doesn't mean a thing in the regular season.
I would not be worried at all if we went 4-0 in the preseason.

The pre-season record is meaningless, so neither good nor bad. The games themselves are not meaningless.

It is irrelevant, but going 4-0 might give the players and coaching staff a false sense of security, so there might be some harm in it, although I seriously doubt it.

Not a big deal what the pre-season record is. Use it to learn about fringe players, & keep starters healthy.

I remember hearing some talking heads on ESPN talking about eventually changing the preseason to only 2 game and adding 2 games to the schedule. If they ever did that, they better let teams expand their rosters because an 18 game season would create more season ending injuries.
But dville's post is correct, why should the fans have to pay full price for practice games?
