Can you name all the schools...
Can you name all the schools in these Major NCAA Conferences?
http://www.sporcle.com/games/ncaamajorconference.php
I got 64/73. The Big East was my downfall and will be the downfall for all the big Football fans that don't care much for basketball. Of football schools, I only forgot two football programs and I'm a little upset with one of them I forgot. This is not a 3-7 Michigan team...it is an 8-2 team without a QB.

I got them all. I had no trouble with the Big East, of course I am a graduate of the Big East school that was the second least guessed in this quiz.

Seton Hall, second only to Providence for most obscure in this quiz. What is funny is that I chose Seton Hall over Providence when I decided where to go to college.
The three that I couldn't remember for some reason were Kansas State, South Carolina, and Florida State. Eventually, they hit me and I got it done with about 3 minutes to spare.

Perfect on the nicknames. Those were really easy. The only one I had trouble with was DePaul. I kept typing in Blue Devils instead of what it really is (hint hint).

Nicknames I got 64/73...but I put "buffalo" for Colorado, and it wouldn't give it to me. Wasted a lot of precious time on that one....Harder than the school list, thats for sure.

71/73 on the schools - Villanova and...NOTRE DAME!!! Just drew a total blank on the Irish.
73/73 on the nicknames with a time 29 seconds faster than Hongbit's!I love it here. True story: They asked me to play the University of Michigan and I said, ‘No, I don’t like that school. Any school that has to have a football stadium that big must have a small penis.' - Conan O'Brien at the Breslin, on the topic of UofM

The only major conference school that has a football team whose nickname I didn't get was Cal, I kept typing Bears and was getting pissed because I knew they were the Bears. I forgot about they're "Golden".
Since I don't care about college basketball, not getting Providence, Georgetown, DePaul, Marquette or whatever Big East basketball only school didn't matter to me.This is not a 3-7 Michigan team...it is an 8-2 team without a QB.

Don't have time to do this now but I can tell you in my prime for college basketball-dom I'm pretty sure I would've gotten 99% of the schools in the right conferences IN COLLEGE BASKETBALL (D1). I used to keep a top 40 that grew into a top 50 and then a top 64 when I was in high school. That meant keeping up to date with the best teams in each conference in my notebook. I'd get USA Today and figure out what each team on my poll did each night and post the results.
Still today I often classify a team with the conference it was in 1988 more than today. Today I bet I could get 50% if I was lucky."Only Lions fans can predict a victory when their starting quarterback has a broken arm." -unknown
"I'm going to go the Pistons' game tonight and watch Sheed jack up threes." -unknown

For nicknames, I got all but 3 - Ole Miss, Washington State, and Stanford. I kicked myself for each after seeing the answer. It's so damned hot out...milk was a bad choice.
