I would but I can't stop laughing at the thought of Floyd actually coaching well enough in a big game to win by 10 points

Pittman - 214 rushes, 12 TDs, 1,032 rushing yards, 4.8 yards per carry

Hart - 278 rushes, 11 TDs, 1,373 rushing yards, 4.9 yards per carry

Hart has more yards, but he also has a ton more carries. Pittman has more touchdowns and .1 less yards per carry.

Yea I think they are about equal.

Mike Hart 2 1000 yard years including as a true freshman(soon to be 2 1400 yard years), how is that overrated? Rivals.com player ratings has Hart 3 and Pittman 10, so if we are overrating him, then so are the rucruiting agencies

Hart 1373 yards 11 tds 4.9 yards per carry
Pittman 1032 yards 12 tds 4.8 yards per carry

You conveniently left out the carries...I already posted the stats. They are aboute equal...and Pittman has his 2nd straight 1,000 yard season entering an elite group of running backs including Griffin. I did not say he is overrated, I said UM fans overrate him...ya'll seem to think he is the second coming when in actuallity he is a good big ten back that we have seen many times before. Just like Pittman.

I don't think being an OSU fan has anything to do with it. I just didn't appreciate your direct insult to me and I called you on it. Kind of similar to how you called out Mr.Mellissa. It's over and done with now...good luck tomorrow. Hope you enjoy watching it with your friends and family.

the more carries a back gets means the more load he can take, i think the more carries for Hart is a good thing, you seem to think its negative

and where do the stats show Pittman>Hart, ill ive seen is that they are close or that Hart is better

yet you OSU fans laugh at the fact Hart is ranked higher, but you have nothing to show Pittman is better

    I don't think it's harsh.
So basically you are saying that only Michigan fans can decide how the death as an excuse?

The impact of his death on the outcome is already being blown out of proportion. His death should not be a shock and it should not be sad. He was 77 and had a bad ticker for decades. He lived a full life and now joins Millie in the afterlife. To try to use it as a rallying cry is tacky at best.

    What? Who is saying that?

Come on. The guy's death hours before the big game isn't shocking? Give me a break. And I don't think using it as a rallying cry is tacky in the slightest. Calling someone out on it right after it happens is tackier. Saying, "oh yeah, is this the excuse you're gonna use if you lose" is tacky. If it wasn't meant that way, then that's my bad. But I was upset at the time.

Why do you want to take all the emotion out of it? I'm sure it's not an emotional thing to you because you don't care about the game or the schools. Which is fine. But let Michigan fans grieve how they want to grieve, Bo was a pretty important figure to some of them.

you are trying to have it both ways. I didn't take the comment "This is their excuse" in any negative way. I said as much earlier when I said if UM wins, it'll be perceived because of this and if they lose it'll be perceived because of this. It's the Olympic soap opera angle that makes the media wet. Instead of thinking about the game they can latch on to this in their analysis.

Listen Oblong, I know you don't like to put any hype on events, and you're right, everything is overhyped. And I know you're cynical about everything you don't care about, and you're right to be cynical about it. If I didn't care about the game, I would think the same way as you do. But I do care about it, so that probably gets in the way.

Haha, you actually used the "live in your parents basement" insult in the soccer thread. I actually do not live with my parents, and you are extremely unoriginal, hooray! Out of curiosity exactly how many times have you been beaten up in your life? It has to be once a week at the least judging by how defensive you always are.

so the line on this game has moved to osu -7 kinda intresting...really would think alot of money moveing to michigan and it looks like a good bet

    now onto the game

I see it this way...I really see Michigan putting on of there best efforts in a long time...I also see the bucks putting together a good effort tomarrow...really think its gonna come down to who makes the least mistakes in the game during the game...in my mind Michigan will make less (only 10 turnovers all year) and there defense will force a couple...Michigan will control the clock and run the ball alot to keep the crowd out of the game and Troy Smith on the sidelines

    Michigan 24
    Ohio St. 21

A close game the whole way...w/ Michigan defesne holding the bucks at the end
