    With all of the talk centering around the Tigers turning down a deal for Roy Halladay, lets look at what our current staff ace has done this season...

    Last year, Verlander was the talk of Detroit. But, it was for all of the wrong reasons. He ended the season with a 4.84 ERA, 17 losses and the most walks issued in his 3 year career.   5. No-hitter goes into extra innings

    The Whitecaps pitching threw a 1 hitter, but wondered if they would win the game on Monday night. It was the last game of the homestand and they were playing a three game series against their Western rival, Kane County. The Whitecaps dominated in the first game Saturday night 7-1, but on Sunday, Kane County turned the tables and beat us 7-4.
