Today is the Talent Show! Unfortunately there is a rehearsal in the morning, the school show in the afternoon, and the show for parents in the evening so I get to see ALL the acts 3 times today. I think 3 out of the 30 actually have talent.

Tigers will bounce back tonight in a big way - you can take it to the bank.

    I am not crazy about Talent shows and all, but on the other hand, it gives others a chance to work at what they are good at. At least, those guys at least will feel good at what they do whether it's good or not, and that's what's really about.

    There were some really horrible acts and since I somehow got to be the only person to see it 3 times my brain is completely fried. The student of mine who has Asperger's was going to play the kazoo and he couldn't find his right before the show and had a major fit with screaming and crying right there in the gymnasium. I found one in the garbage in the main hall whole going in to get something else and gave it to him. (I did rinse it off first) and he was happy.

    Great for the kids - Hell for the folks who run it.
