Here we go - back to school. Two weeks left.

Weather is nice and talent show auditions start today. Much hilarity there. Many kids have no idea that they have no talent whatsoever and try real hard. They are the most entertaining ones.

    The sad, sad truth. I can't imagine how many times I looked like an arse doing what I thought I did pretty darn well. Good luck holding back the laughter.

    Second-graders cannot sing. Seemingly they lack a sense of:

    Pitch
    Rhythm
    Timing

    One girl jumped on a pogo stick for a minute.

    2 boys put on a karate demonstration - they walked back and forth and each made a weak kick in the direction of the other. Kicking feet barely reached knee height.

    Wish I could put this on the Internets.

    Tomorrow 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

    Thursday is 1st grade - that is the really amazing one!
