Well, the "Independent Examiner" the state had me see wrote something in his report (which concluded that I was permanently disabled and nothing more could be done) that any further efforts would only be "palliative." Heard from all the kids except one so far and he tends to call late. Scored some good loot also!

Survived sister-in-law and her husband visiting for a few hours (they are OK) but barely as they brought along angry grandpa. 92 years old or something like that. Retired big mucky muck in the Marines. Thinks everything these days is awful. He did like the meal.

Left home at 8 AM, returned at 10:33 PM today.

Ever go help one of your kids and her family load up to move by going to their house to watch the kids while the paid loaders and the couple get things loaded? Ever told to expect it to take about 2 hours. Ever had it take over 12 hours? No place to sit, hot house, bad ankle screaming at me the whole time.
