Couldn't find a thread for this movie since "I" and "Am" are not searchable, so sorry if this movie has already been discussed.

Just saw this movie last night and I have to say I enjoyed it immensely. I will have to put the book on my list.

I thought it was OK, but I thought they wrapped things up a bit too quickly.

I found it very sad, suspensful and enjoyable. I thought Will Smith did a very good job in a difficult role. However, there were several parts I found to be quite unbelievable.

I agree with that, it ended quickly. At 100 minutes I think they could have added 15-30 without it feeling like it was too long. A little more time flushing out the development of the infected would have clarified some things that I think they left hanging.

How did it compare with Omega Man? That one always has freaked me out.

I just saw this movie tonight. I was told that it was more suspenseful than scary, but I might not be sleeping tonight. I get scared easily, though. Overall, great movie. I found the part with the dog very sad because of what just happened in my personal life (had to put my pup down last Thursday..). But the movie was fantastic. I agree about wishing they had spent a little more time developing on the infected.

Local movie reviewers were mixed with one worthy effort (less than a top score, 4 on a 1-5 scale) 2 @ 3 (so-so) and 2 bombs

Yeah how do they catch all the infected zombie like creatures? The world is full of 99% zombies and 1% humans so how did they devise a plan to catch every last one of them and strap them down and cure them with the blood?

I guess as long as they stay indoors at night they are okay.

Seemed like they just skimmed over the whole movie, never really went into detail about anything. Although, him romping around in the GT500 was pretty tits.

For the longest of time I've been trying to figure out why the title of this movie was so familiar. I thought maybe it was a video game or something at first. It wasn't until about half way through the movie that it hit me: I read this book! It was years ago that I read it, and the story is quite a bit different: Some place in California vs. NY, natural vs. man-made disease, but it's still pretty true to the feel of the story: The struggle of one man to survive both the physical and mental trials of being the "last man on earth."

The only problem is that the end is much different. I like the book ending better, even though it's a lot more grim. I won't give it away here for those who haven't seen the movie or read the book. You can get a plot summary here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_am_legend) on wikipedia.

Great movie. Not a fan of the ending and like you guys said, not sure how they got all the zombie creatures captured. Excellent movie.
