Bshingle and I will be at the Hens game tomorrow, the 4th. What kinds of prices should we expect to see for both parking and food/drink inside the park?
We've got seats for Sec. 116, and are both excited to check out the park!

Unless your keen on ballpark food (or short on time), there are plenty of nice restuarants right around the park that you could visit instead.
I haven't been there enough to comment on parking prices... There are several individual lots around the park that I would suspect you'd find spots at for around $5. I'm sure a Mudhen regular could give you more insight to parking.

I'll be @ todays game. The prices are very reasonable for food and parking. I'm going by memory since I haven't been there yet this year, but parking is generally $3-5. Beer is <$5 and like I said food is very reasonable.
You will love the ball park. I'm from Toledo and it's one of the things that I'm most proud of in this city. Hopefully the new sports arena that they are going to be build will be just as nice.
Have fun at the game, I can let you know what we paid for parking after tonights game.

You can park directly across from Fifth-Third Park for $5 typically. I would suggest a pregame meal at Toledo staple Tony Pacos. (It's right there and it's kind of hard to miss the sign.)

Thanks for the feedback! I think we'll be having dinner with my girlfriend's grandparents, so that will be covered. Beer will most certainly be a purchase for me, and then probably a little snack as well.
We'll be spending all Saturday in town, and Tony Pacos is on the hitlist for lunch that day.

You can park at the Erie Street Market for free. It's only about 2 blocks away. If you get there early enough there is plenty of parking too.

Hope you get there early & go down by the dugout...on 3rd base side...GO HENS....Say Hi for all the former Whitecaps, especially Ryan Raburn, from his WM Host Family! You are taking your camera, right?!?

We wound up parking right across the street, on Washington. Our seats were down the first base line, and were very nice. I brought the camera, but didn't really take any pictures. Once the game started I just wanted to enjoy the time with my girlfriend, and didn't really care about snapping pictures. If I go back for another game somtime, I'll actually use the camera.
I was very impressed with the stadium, and had a great time!

But did you go to the original Packo's on the east side? I recommend a dog with chili & mustard, a cup of chili (acceptable to add oyster crackers), and a cup of sweet hot pickles & peppers.

Yup! We went to the 'true' Packo's for lunch yesterday. I got a Packo Dog (with chili and mustard, sans onions), a bowl of Packo's chili, and a side of mac and cheese.
They were selling bumper stickers that said "Gas... With Class!" I will attest that the statement is quite true.

Packo's on the east side is a blast(in more ways than one!) Glad you found the original.

Yeah, we went with a few of Becky's relatives and had an awesome time. Now we're down here in South Carolina for the rest of the week, staying on Columbia for the next day or two, then off to Myrtle Beach for a couple of nights. Follow that up with a day in Charleston, and then another night in Columbia.
Be sure to do some cheering for us at the games this week!
