Curtis is the man. I love how someone asked him about Al Kaline and he referred to him as "Mr. Al Kaline". Curtis is one humble son of a gun...I feel like anyone could hang out with him and not be intimidated that he's a pro baseball player at all.

John, any plans in the works for an official Curtis Granderson website?

Motown,
Right now, we are sticking with the MySpace... It's such a large community, and so many people are on that daily, that's it's easier to market Curtis to people. I can post a bulletin, and people can go straight to that page while they are online...
The downside is that not everyone has a MySpace, and we do understand that. We are exploring things for Curtis next year that includes merchandising, and at that point, it may make more sense to start his own web site.
ALSO, a lot of the sites that would include his name (curtisgranderson.com and .net, grandy.com, etc...) are already taken. And I refuse to fall into that trap of paying thousands for a domain name.

One thing i was thinking, that would be cool for Mr. Granderson to do, would to have daily/weekly videoblogs on YouTube.com ; you could really market him well there too... I'm not sure what MLB would say to that, but, just throwing out an idea.

Dennis,
Those things are easy for NFL and NBA players (and MLB pitchers), etc... They have so many off-days that it's no big deal to keep doing that stuff. For an MLB player, doing a lot of these things is just stretching their time too much.
Good idea, and we've explored, but it's just not something we feel is a good fit.

You gotta love the love hitters have for pitchers and vice versa. Cracks me up every time.

That's really funny, how he explains how to taunt properly, to make sure he hears you.

John, any thoughts yet on a Presidential run in 2012?

John:
I know Curtis was seen a few times w/ youngster Cameron Maybin. Can you tell us the how tight they really are? What are Curtis' thoughts on a potential position shift, and playing w/ Cam in the near future?
Thank you for your work and selecting a wonderful client!

I don't normally speak for Curtis, but I do know that Cameron and he have a great relationship. Curtis will do what it takes to win. Naturally, he would prefer to stay in centerfield, but he understands how this business works.
And as I understand, it's pretty rare for a centerfielder to be skilled in the corners. B ut Curtis has played the oorners in the past, and played them well. Simply put, Curtis wants to help contribute to his team's wins.
