Road Trip?

Lakeland is playing Clearwater Fri, Sa and Su this week. Anyone interested in a road trip one of those days/nights? I've got a mini van and don't mind the drive. (No discussion with Team Mom yet so this is tentative).

I can meet you guys there if you make the trip, but you may want to watch the weather forecast.. right now according to Baynews 9, Friday and Sat should be fine, but Sunday will be a washout..

Friday evening traffic is a deterrent, Sunday's forecast also. I will probably come over for Saturday night and hope I can attract some Lakeland fans.

The Friday traffic is really bad in the Tampa area, even at 7.. they are calling for a 20 percent chance of rain on Saturday, but we have dry air coming in. High 84..so find all those in Lakeland and come on over.. the burm is really a nice place to hang out if you like the grass and the tiki bar!!!:grin:

Right now the Wx looks good for tonight with conditions worsening between 2 AM and Noon. Most likely be cool and windy by Sun. gametime. Only Team Mom and I are coming tonight so far.

Go for section 105..this is the Tiger's dugout side...$6 per ticket.. the family and me will be somewhere in that mess.. good turnout last night.. my wife has some long blond hair and I will be wearing the spring training hat with 2006 championship shirt.. couple of kids (depending if my daughter wants to come again), she is 19 and has love for some of those players.. oh no..

well, there are a couple of months left of the season and I know the Tigers will get back over here..every Friday is family night if you have a coupon and every Saturday home game, they have fireworks after the game..the Blue Jays are just up the road and maybe hit one of those..

6000+ fans packed Brighthouse tonight! I think I parked in St. Pete! Still ran into a dozen or so Lakeland fans that had made the trip. Chaz, I never made it over to the N'orside, sitting in 109. Yuengling beer...wonderful park!
