Hey icetee almost identical to my numbers.
I think Casey will do fine. He even hit over .300 with Pittsburg last year. Changing leagues probably messed with his average and that showed as he hit what .576 or so in the World Series?

I don't see how a guy with no speed who hits .300 every year can turn into a .260 hitter one day (essentially falling off a cliff). But thats why we post the stats to see how right/wrong we are.

i agree. casey is a proven 300 hitter. when he faced NL pitching he did great. Now that he is on the team from the begining, and not brought in midway through the season and expected to contribute and put the team over the top. also the whole team struggled down the stretch and casey never had a chance to settle in the lineup.
