I think it would be a good idea to have a sticky note post for links to Detroit Tiger books, historical and biographical. I'm sure there are books out there that none of us have ever heard of, or read ... just a thought.

I have a ton at home. I know we've had lists like this before. I think about a year ago we had one and I posted just about every Tiger book I have there.

But one of the things people need to do here is register on
www.paperofrecord.com.
It's FREE. It takes minutes to do so and it has EVERY SINGLE SPORTING NEWS thru 2003 on it. And I'm telling you these pages print out very well. I just printed the 1940 July 4 cover and it has mug shots of ALL the All-Stars around the outside of the front page. Let's see. There is Hank Greenberg, Tommy Bridges, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Jimmy Foxx.....
