This only goes back to 1950. But it could help to add executives to our voting process.

In my opinion Jim Campbell belongs in any sort of HOF that you do for the Tigers. Campbell was the executive from 1963 to 1983. He basically built both the 1968 and 1984 championship teams.

Frank Navin is probably deserving. Walter O. Briggs will be more controversial, possibly.

I might be inclined to put Lajoie in there as well given the fact that he was the scouting director when they drafted Trammell, Whitaker etc.
If the Tigers go on a great 5-10 year stretch and win a WS with Ilitch it becomes a question of whether he would be in there as an owner. Now THAT would be a crazy debate...
I know this was about the executives but owners should be included in this category as well.

I was planning on nominating Navin in 1935... Campbell deserves it too.

Did we ever decide whether execs were going to be placed in the same election as the players? I thought we had discussed a seperate election for execs?
