Biff Mayhem

I clicked the Fat Heads banner ad today and lo and behold they have a Pudge Rodriguez Fat Head available. Apparently if you buy one you get one free. They have a Barry Sanders one too that looks pretty cool.

Is there a Biff Mayhem Fat Head? I want it, to scare off the neighborhood cats.

I would definitely consider putting Barry on the side of my toolshed. Kind of a mini-mural concept !! :classic:

I must say, the ads on TV are so VERY annoying.
If anyone has one, how easy do they transfer to another spot on your wall or another wall altogether?

Is Biff Mayhem a Fat Head?
Fixed that for you.

Bummer. Maybe I could shellac it or something.
And being a Detroit Lion, Barry could certainly handle a shellacking ......

Approx how is the helmet? I have a 3.5' by 3.5' spot that needs to be filled after Christmas decorations are taken down.
Do they have the Olde English D?
MichiganFan1717
12-29-2006, 10:04 AM
Helmet is 50" x 53" they also have the Block M availible. No Old English D yet, the MLB logos section is growing slowly, only five members. (yanks, Red sox, cubs, Mets, Angels)

Please tell me there's a Polanco one.
MichiganFan1717
12-29-2006, 10:22 AM
No Polanco one yet. Pudge is the only Tiger. Rip and Ben are the only Pistons. Lindstrom is the only Wing. Barry is the only Lion. No college players. Yes Spartan and Michigan Helmets and Lions helmets. Yes Winged Wheel. Yes Block M and block O. No Pistons logo, no leaping lion, no block S, no Old English D, no historic College players.

I wish they would make those stickers of old players, like Cobb and Kaline. I'd snatch those up in a second.

Yeah, that would be awesome! I know those things are rather expensive, and I'd go broke decorating my walls with the likes of Cobb, Ruth, Gehrig, etc. -- not to mention going broke during the divorce proceedings! :speech:

You don't have your own room? Any man who does not at least have his own room needs to find a new wife.

the Pudge one is kind of non-descript, other than the Blue and White on his gear and in the uniform, nothing distinguishes him as a Tiger really.
Other than the fact that he's a Tiger. :)

I am not sure I understand the concept here. You stick it on the wall? Why do I want a lifesize image of a player on my wall?
Now, an old english d I can understand. Maybe a block M. But the player thing is just weird.

I can't believe these posters (for all intents and purposes) are $99-$150. Holy smokes. Is it really worth it?
seems a little expensive for what they are

They're buy one get one free. Its $75 max then. Still quite a bit though.

Yes .. & Chili Cheese Fries.
Oh, & yes those ads are annoying. I hate the Big Ben one, because he says out there in TV Land. That may have been amusing in the 50s when TV was new. Maybe. Now, not so much.

The ad with that wide-out from the Bengels, Chad Johnson, was kind of funny. When he calls himself a "Fathead", it seemed to fit! :cheeky:
I would buy all the Dallas cheerleaders to hang on my wall, but I don't think the wife would be happy..

I agree. It just seems to me like a big $150 poster. They look like they are well done but after the first couple times you look at it, I imagine it just looks like a poster.
They need to venture into non-sports. Or at the very least, women's volleyball.

Yeah the Pudge one just came out this year.... about time. Tried to talk my wife into putting him up on my 16 month old son's room, but she said no.
Good thing I suppose $100+ for a freaking poster. That's a lot. Would only be worth it if you could get it autographed but what are you gonna do... "hey pudge c'mon over to my house I have a life size poster I want you to sign". Yeah right.

But if they had a Zumaya one with the bloody eye, I might have to reconsider.
“I think he intentionally tried to pop his blood vessel,” Tigers third baseman Brandon Inge said. “He’s ugly anyway. It doesn’t matter.”
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=jp-zumaya100506&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
"This monster, this cartoon character wearing the road grays of the Detroit Tigers, glared down at the hitters from atop the pitcher's mound. He had one normal eye, and one that was blood-red. And he threw invisible baseballs toward them with a force that would have been unbelievable had the evidence not been right there on the scoreboard radar-readings: 101 mph, 102 mph, 103 mph."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/05/AR2006100501066.html
Come to think of it, I loved that moment so much, it needs to be a fathead to capture it forever. I'll never forget Zumaya with a blood red eye flaming down the yankees.

Keep Ruth out of it, and I'd say you're well on your way to a lovely decorating scheme there. And that's the official opinion of a female art student. :P
