What in blue blazes does it mean or stand for? Why did those Sox fans come up with it?

It is a take off on the soccer chant, they are saying "JOOOOOOOOOOOSE JOSE JOSE JOSE JOSE" or something to that effect for Jose Reyes.
(Assuming you mean the Mets chants)

he's talking about the O-E-O Magglio chant.

I think he's talking about Magglio's song, from the Wizard of Oz.

Really? I only watch Oz with Dark Side of the Moon. I wouldn't know.

You would have to watch it normally to see what the chant means.

Geez, even I knew that one.

That's because it was something that came out before World War II.

Something just occurred to me. Ordonez looks like Toto when he chases a fly ball. Short little steps and really seems unsure of himself.

I thought it was something related to Oz, but I still don't know how. Do the munchkins chant it? Does the tinman say it? Does the witch do it?

The big, ugly, hook-nosed guards that protect the witch's castle. While they're marching around, they chant "O-E-O"

Don't the orcs in the original Lord of the Rings (the rotoscoped one) also perform this chant while marching or in battle?

I thought it was from the Metallica song.

I've always found it too gimicky. I usually skip over it when I listen to AJFA. Perhaps I'll give it another listen but I doubt I'll find it pleasing.

Plug your guitar in and play it. It's pretty simple but I like it.

The only song from that I skip over is the one with the acoustic beginning.

To Live Is To Die? Blackened would be my least favorite.

Yah, that one was already done on MOP (Damage Inc.) and KEA (Metal Millitia). That is one of the reasons I like MOP more than AJFA because I don't skip any songs on MOP.

The only song even remotely worth skipping over is Eye of the Beholder.
Blackened is one of the best songs on the album (the best being the title track). AJFA is a better album than MOP. It's not really close either. AJFA is really strong and has aged well. I wish they'd continued in that direction.
Biff, what's "gimmicky" about Frayed Ends of Sanity? I agree with Yoda.
AJFA had more of a raw edge to it. It was caused by shoddy production work but that gave it more character to me. MOP sounded better but it didn't have as much edge, IMO.

Oh E Oh is the gimmicky part. It just put me off and still does.

did you intentionally link them with the flying monkeys/monkeys might fly out of my butt? If not, that is a pleasant coincidence.
