Somebody told me they heard it on the radio and this MLB Press release (http://detroit.tigers.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/press_releases/press_release.jsp?ymd=20061010&content_id=1707419&vkey=pr_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb) seems to indicate that. This is probably buried in one of the threads but I figured if it's true it deserved it's own thread for all the Michigan fans out there.

Hmmm... I'm sure it was done to get the Mets another prime time game. Detroit/Oakland is just not sexy enough for primetime.

This is lousy. I'll be on the road at this time. I'll have to listen on my radio.

As I'm attending Saturday and Sunday (and have a two hour drive each way) I am quite pleased with this. I'd much rather watch a game in the Sunshine anyway.

Well I have to work Friday AND Saturday from 4-10:30, so I don't want to here no whining here.

Are you sure it has nothing to do with Michigan/PSU being on national TV in primetime??

Great news for me. It makes my Lions-Tigers doubleheader a bit more casual.

So you'll be switching from dress pants to Dockers now?

G Man,
That was pretty good. I meant more relaxed. I won't have to hurry out of one to get into the other. At 4:05 p.m. that would've been an issue.

dang it. I have to work 2-10 (Central Time) and probably would have gotten home in time to see the end. Now I dont get to see anything.

Of course, that rainout vs the Yankees let me see that game, so I guess its my turn to lose out on one.
