Ron Gardenhire
Pros:Best team in baseball since July. Won the AL Central
Cons: Started off the season very slowly

Jim Leyland
Pros: Huge turnaround from a team that was under .500 for nearly 10 years, Wildcard playoff team
Cons:Lost the AL Central in the last few weeks of the season,

Ken Macha
Pros: Took a newer team and made them a playoff team.
Cons: ? (I don't know much about them)

Leyland will win Manager of the Year, Verlander Will Win Rookie of the Year, Tigers made the Playoffs as A Wildcard.

Next up: World Series Title.

Honestly I think Ron overtook Leyland I really do. While Leyland has been ****ing around with players like Neifi Perez and Alexis Gomez, and playing pitchers in a pennant race that should be in the minors, Ron Gardenhire sneaks up and takes the title from him. I think he took the manager of the year as well right along with the AL Central.

Still think Verlander gets ROY.

Why? Twins were expected to do more than the tigers. Soem of you are just mad with how the year finished, I am too but that does not mean leyland wont win it in an landslide.

I think Leyland will get it. If I was a voter I would give it to Gardenhire though. I thought that was the point of the poll.

Gardenhire won it with 2 MVP candidates, the CY Young winner, and what would have been the ROY if he hadn't gotten injured. He did a great job but the Twins have had a good team for at least 5 years now. I think the voters will give it to Leyland because the turnaround they made.

If i was a voter i would give it on a full season not a few weeks of hot or cold baseball. Tigers were expected to do less then the Twins.

The Tigers had a great first four months and the Twins had a great last four months, I'm going to go with Leyland because the Tigers are much more of a surprise to be in the playoffs.
