He was. He hit the HR off Jeff Francis. I don't know about the triple though. He hit it at Coors, too, which is where he hit his first and only HR before today.

I remember that Nook started out fast for the Tigers too. He will probably dupe them into making him their leadoff hitter/CF to start out next season.

I wish him well but I doubt he will actually find a consistent offensive ability.

Kyle Lohse has been great in the interNational league, if that's the kind of pitching Nook is facing who knows what could happen?

Nook Logan could not consistently hit at any level of baseball over a full season stretch. I guess its possible everything suddenly clicked. The more likely possibility is that he is a bad player on a hot streak.

Nook has only 3 K's in 31 ab's and he's walked 3 times. That's the best stretch he's had in those areas ever.
