I'm thinking of making the trip to henry ford to check the exhibit out. Has anyone gone, and what was it like?
Thanks

It's very cool. I will go this weekend probably.

It was absolutely wonderful. I've gone to the exhibit once, and I plan on going again at least one more time.
If you like baseball history, you'll love it. It's like having Cooperstown in your own backyard.

The exhibit is pretty nice, but having been to the HOF and seeing the exhibit when it was in Washington, I was a little disappointed (I still enjoyed it). I had hoped there would be much more of a Detroit flair to it than it turned out to have. If you've never been to the HOF or seen it elswhere, you'll like it. Give yourself about 2 hours or so to allow yourself enough time to take it all in.
The ideal thing to do would be to take in the exhibt at the museum, then head over to Greenfield Village and watch an old time baseball game. However, there are seperate admissions for both places.

It is really cool, but definitely not HOF worthy. There are still some really cool artifacts.
Check out the historic game this Saturday at 1:30 (BTW it is not at Walnut Grove this weekend due to the DSO Celebration, it will be at Hawthorne Field which is at the end of Maple Lane), I'll be dressing for it.

Why do you want to go see where Dimitri young went to rehab?

Haha. :classic:
Anywho, don't just go for Baseball As America (by the way Robertson was signing autographs last weekend there), check out everything there. There are a billion remarkable artificats there (Rosa Parks bus, Lincoln's chair, JFK's limo, Washington's little field bed he slept in during the Revolution, etc.).

Totally agree. It's underwhelming if you've been to Cooperstown, but otherwise well worth a look.
