Love the forum you guys have here. I'm addicted after a few weeks of lurking. Wish I would have found it sooner!
Question - Any MLB.com subscribers here? Thinking about either doing the full video subscription or either the audio only to catch games. Curious if other people find it worth the money and if it works well. Any good deals or coupons anyone is aware of?
I did find one deal for $9.95 for the audio only. However you have to sign up as a member of Redsox Nation.

Welcome to the board!
I am currently subscribed to MLB.tv. It does what I need it to, as I am able to see almost all of the Tigers games (minus the blacked out ones vs the D-Rays here in Florida) and replays of the games if I'm not able to watch them live. It's light years ahead of the gamecasts, and I would rather pay the extra money and actually watch the game instead of listening to it on MLB audio.
I don't know of any coupons, though.

Thanks for the reply.
I just found this link http://www.thegamelive.com/baseballmlb.html
and it has links to all the MLB teams. I'm listening to the Indians game now for free. Hmmmm, think I might pass on mlb.com audio now

You will be blacked out on TV for seeing live Tiger games given where you live, so unless you want to see other teams or see archived games don't do the TV. Deing in Idaho I have no Tiger games being blacked out--unless ESPN on Sunday or Fox on Saturday causes it. The radio is a good deal but if you can get it in your own market there is no advanage there. It's great for me, not so great for you I'd think.

I bet they even black Tigers games out in northern Indiana eh? I heard that MLBtv screws up sometimes too and you can't even get any of the games.

I've been very happy with MLB.tv as I live in the midwest and don't have a dish for FSN Detroit or any of that I can subscribe to. So I watch most Tigers games on MLB.tv feed.
I have found that if you try to load the MLB.tv video feed for the game about 20-30 minutes before the game starts, MLB won't black you out even if you are in a supposed blackout area, but once the game has started and you are in a blackout area, MLB.tv will black you out and you are screwed. The fox games of the week in the afternoon's are blacked out no matter where you are at due to a national blackout thing. Stupid rule that Bud Selig should look to revamp the blackouts so more fans can view the games they want no matter where they live, JUST like the MLB.tv commercial says. watch your teams from anywhere from your PC.

I have the audio package and love it. I have a USB FM transmitter that I hook up sometimes and listen to the game anywhere in the yard. I will probably do MLB.tv in september to follow pennant race.
