...now lets just hope that some of these picks pan out.
David Chadd seems to know what he's doing .. which is a nice sign. Now I know our draft with Kenny Baugh was considered very strong short after, but it still feels good to be on top of a list like this, especially with what happened last year. It'd be nice to have two good, quality drafts in a row.
Couldn't resist, could ya?
I liked the article, it was posted yesterday though. :)

I'm not that high on the Tigers draft. Too many college players high, and not enough pitching. I like the Yankees, Red Sox, and Arizona drafts the most.

We drafted 28 pitchers.....18 of which are almost certain to sign....how many did you want? If anything, I think we took too many pitchers.

Not enough high. Especially HS. Quality over quantity.

Given the complete lack of offensive depth in the system, drafting college hitters with good plate discipline was crucial.
From what I gather, we have some good arms coming stateside this year from the DSL last year. The emergence of a few of those arms should quell your concerns about high school arms. If you can dig up last year's DSL Tigers stats, you will see where I am coming from in that regard.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.
