During last night's game, my brother and I consumed several beers and resolved to visit Comerica for a series this year. We have chosen the St. Louis series. We have arranged for flights and a hotel, but need tickets. Any advice on how to obtain good tickets for this series would be appreciated.

Thank you.

There are still several good tickets available for this series by just looking online or calling the ticket office. Otherwise, I'd suggest ebay or you can overpay on a site like primeseat.com or stubhub.com

The ticket office outside the CoPa about a half hour before gametime always works for me.

Those games will probably be sold out. You might not want to chance buying tickets at the park.

you must enlarge the rally baby and make a sign to hold up during the game so that we will have proof it's you.

Have we sold out a single game other than opening day?

Actually, I hope your right. It would only mean people are starting to come to games. But the fact remains, the tigers are still at the bottom of the league in attendance. (3 from the bottom I think).

I'd love to say that bleacher seats will cost $85 on stubhub which is what I paid for bleachers at wrigley next month but $8 seats at the CoPa can still be had on gameday pretty easily. St. Louis will draw some more people but I don't see it selling out before gameday. Again. I hope I'm wrong. Maybe if the tigs keep this up......

Thank you for the very helpful information. Next question - where do I want to sit, assuming that price is not a consideration?

the game might not sell out, but you'll get stuck with seats way up in the upper deck....... Yankee and Red Sox tickets usually sell out or close to it

I'm not much help with top dollar seats. I go to too many games to buy expensive seats all the time. I typically just hang out on the Pepsi Porch.

I'd suggest the RF/1B side over LF/3B side in general though. You can see the main scoreboard better and the sun doesn't set right in your eyes.

I've heard that Shannon will be in attendance and hopes to look
a few of you guys up. She really misses chatting with some of you.

My personal preference for combo of excellent seats/price is the lower deck outfiled box seats that are $25. Example is section 138 (in which I'll be in the 2nd row for the Saturday Card's game - no, I'm not too excited:nervous: ).

Rightfield 1st base side anywhere down the line. Always a great view - but it IS the opposing team's side and I know you wouldn't want to sit there.
