$300? You can get an ipod that would hold just as much without all the clutter and wires.

Why do you need 400 in an immobile unit anyway? Are we that lazy? Reminds me of Brian Regan's bit on combining peanut butter and jelly into the same jar.

I wonder if they also offer one with a 400-disc Minidisc changer built in.

The odd thing isn't just that these are still being built and sold, but that this was No. 4 or 5 on the best-seller list on Circuit City's site.

I'm typically done with a DVD the first time I watch it, so a multi-disc DVD player has about zero appeal to me. I guess if you liked watching the same DVDs over-and-over a multi-disc player would make sense, but a Jukebox DVD player is pretty odd.

you know, companies like Sony can pay Circut City to appear in their Best Sellers list. this stuff gets done all the time.
