First off, thank you MotownWebGuy for this forum.
I wished the Detroit Tigers would start winning like the Hanshin Tigers in Japan. Hanshin is currently at 9 wins and 1 loss! They are HOT right now. (Don't know how long this will last, as I think most "experts" picked them to be around 4th place or so.)
On the other hand, the Lotte Marines are trying (??) to emulate Detroit. They have started the season with 9 straight losses, and is losing 0-4 right now. Oh, and Lotte's team batting average is .155 with the team ERA at 6.39.
Hope that the New Board, New Manager, New (what have you) will lead to a much better season than has been going on so far!!! (I am allowed to hope right? :-)

Lotte Marines are still winless. 0 wins and 10 losses.

The futility race is still ongoing. Lotte Marines loses again, so they are now at 0 wins and 11 losses. They've improved their team BA a bit to .168 and team ERA to 5.96.
On the other hand, the Hanshin Tigers couldn't keep their winning streak going and they lost tonight, so they are now at 10 wins and 2 losses.
PS I'll stop giving daily updates on these two teams as soon as Detroit wins (which I hope will be VERY SOON!!).

Lotte Marines won again. This time 13-5 over the Pacific League leading (at the time) Seibu Lions. They are now at 2 wins and 11 losses.
Hanshin Tigers (of the Central League) didn't play so they are still at 11 wins and 2 losses.

Lotte Marines tied Seibu Lions last night 1-1. (Games in Pacific League only last till the 12th inning.) So they are now at 2 wins 11 losses and 1 tie.
Central League leading Hanshin Tigers on the other hand lost to the Chunichi Dragons dropping their record to 11 wins and 3 losses.
And what's this? Detroit's winning 7-3 in the bottom of the eighth! Will this (FINALLY) be the last update of the hapless Lotte Marines and the surprising Hanshin Tigers? I HOPE SO!!!!

Yes! Yes! Yes!
The number 12 was a charm for both Lotte and Detroit. The 12th game was the first win for both teams.
Game 13 was a win for Lotte. Will game 13 also be a W for Detroit? I sure hope so!!!!
Whooppeeeeeeeee!!!! :D
