Again, show me a time that Dombrowski didn't use the process when the tigers were willing to keep the player. Offering arbitration, you risk the chance that you are stuck with the player. All these players he didn't use it on, there was no way in hell the tigers wanted the player back.
I'm beginning to think this whole argument is moot. I think Polanco is going to sign elsewhere before the Tigers need to make a decision. I think he is more concerned with the term than the dollars.
